Prep the skin – Apply Tallow Balm to your clean face, so the brush glides smoothly instead of dragging. Avoid dry brushing directly on bare skin, as it can cause micro-tears.
- Open the drainage pathway at the neck – Before touching the face, gently brush from the base of the neck down toward the collarbone in short downward strokes. This clears the main lymph nodes so fluid has somewhere to drain to.
- Work the jaw and chin outward – Starting at the chin, use light, feather-light strokes moving out toward the ears, then down the sides of the neck to the collarbone. Repeat 3–5 times per side.
- Brush the cheeks toward the ears – From the nose and mouth area, sweep outward and slightly upward toward the ears, then continue down the neck. Keep pressure very light — barely more than the weight of the brush itself.
- Sweep under the eyes with extra care – Using minimal pressure, brush from the inner corner of the eye outward toward the temple, then down toward the ear. This is the most delicate area, so go slowly and never pull the skin.
- Finish the forehead – Brush from the centre of the forehead outward toward the temples, then down the sides of the face to the neck and collarbone, finishing the drainage pathway you opened at the start.
- Close with a final neck sweep – End the session the same way you started: a few gentle downward strokes from jaw to collarbone, to help move everything that's been stimulated toward drainage.
